I love Hocus Pocus! I thought the sequel was fun, too. 💃🏻 I’m ashamed to say I haven’t yet watched a single Halloween flick! But it’s because the weather here still doesn’t feel like fall. Your post inspired me, however, and tonight I’m gonna open the windows and manifest those fall vibes regardless! I’ll probably watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. 😎

Really love this post, this is a great idea, caring about each other is something we can not see.

Theres just too many wonderful movies but I can mention The Witches (1990) and maybe The last Unicorn

Hocus Pocus has a special place in my heart too! It makes me think of my two sisters, and when we watched it with our friends as kids. Thank you for writing this super well-written tribute to it!

"I like the idea that there’s something powerful in each of us, and it just needs the right support to flourish." This is one of my favourite "themes" to place in stories I write or read in others' stories. I have written about how we all have a gift: https://fromtheheartwriting.substack.com/p/the-gift.

I'm watching The Fall of the House of Usher. I love reading Gothic fiction (and have read a few of Poe's stories and want to reread them!) but not necessarily watch it, but thankfully I have the ability to usually know when to close my eyes while watching hehe.

Thank you for sharing this post!! SO well-written.

Loved this post and all the references that made my millennial heart soar. It is indeed the season of the witch and this post is perfect timing.
