Loved your drawing and the deep dive. This was the perfect read for this frazzled writer :) We've already watched both too. Looking forward to a rewatch!

I understand what you mean about this kind of story wondering adventure! Thank you for sharing :) The art of stories 😍
I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the season and letting yourself relax after such great hard work on your writing. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas to you and your family too!
PS. To answer your question, I’m really enjoying reading Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe!
I never noticed these details before, but they're really cool! I've never thought about what the McAllisters do for a living but this makes sense, given their upper middle class lifestyle.
Btw, it occurred to me in hindsight is that Catherine O'Hara, who plays Kate, is the same Catherine O'Hara that plays the mom in the 5-season TV comedy 'Schitt's Creek'. I had no idea they were the same person until I saw a trailer for Home Alone on Freeform recently and it was kinda mindblowing.
yes! As a Canadian, i think a lot of us perk up and take notice whenever Catherine O'Hara appears in anything haha She was part of the SCTV crew with Martin Short, Eugen Levy, John Candy. If you're looking for more Catherine O'Hara christmasness, I highly recommend th SCTV Christmas special with her in it!
This is a great discovery! (For me also) and now that you mention it, you can see how she went by herself and negotiated solve everything to get back home with Kevin while Dad stayed back taking care of the crew. A “get things done” person backed up by “Ill handle this” one, a great combination.
Regarding December, the Comiclab guys recommend to take a break, because this is the moment where you recharge and fill that container full of your own life, activities, thoughts, friends, family, doodling, etc. and we all should be doing the same for a cherry on top end of year and a fresh new start.
I watched this the night before you posted this haha! It's fate. Also Catherine O'Hara is perfection.
A Canadian treasure

Thank you so much, Marisa! Same to you!
Aw thank you!
I have a habit of posting and then editing what I wrote 😄 so my comment has more in it now lol.
I'll have to watch that scene again, but I was always under the impression that was a wrapping table for presents.
There is also present wrapping happening - scattered amongst the sewing stuff, including a giant like, form/bust/mannequin thing for sewing!

Agree. Total power duo.
This is a lovely sentiment! I will definitely be focused on the recharge.
