I don’t know about you, but I am all in on summer! The kids are still in school, but its the final days and everything just feels like running out the clock before popsicles and fun fairs and swimming and cotton candy sunsets. So my mind is on reading on the dock.
The bright pinks and hot oranges and deep purples of the sky at sunset this time of year always have me wanting to play with lighting and cloudscapes. I have a lot of work at the moment, but I spent last night experimenting and dreaming of being on a dock because… sometimes you gotta just make something for yourself, you know? So I drew this little summer reader at sunset, enjoying the dock after a day of swimming. And I liked her so much, I thought she’d make a great phone wallpaper!
