Happy solar eclipse day!
The kids are home from school, we’ve baked eclipse cookies which are peanut butter sun cookies with a nutella shadow (I made it up and I’m proud of it). We have exactly 1 pair of eclipse glasses to share between 5 of us, and a kindergartener who is very concerned about our collective eye-safety (‘We need more glasses. Where did we get these glasses? Are you sure these are the right glasses?’). It’s going to be a busy day.
I wanted to have a full newsletter for you today, but this past week I was slammed with the worst cold I can remember having in a long time. I spent most of the week going to bed at 8 and doing my best to get through the regular adulting of each day but that left nothing in my energy stores at the end of the day to plan, write, draw or work on HANDS! But yesterday, I finally started feeling my energy come back and managed to doodle this gal after we finished baking the cookies.
And because I don’t have a full newsletter, I decided I’d make her into a phone wall paper for you!

Some day an Eclipse will happen on a no cloudy day in Sweden. Some day.
She's lovely!
But I'd also like to see a picture of those cookies...
